Microsoft is taking the first step into what is very likely to be a tedious process to create Windows 10 a 64-bit sole item. This is only a formality as each the significant CPU manufacturers stopped producing 32-bit chips long ago.

What’s more, Microsoft will still make 32-bit versions of the OS available in non-OEM stations to support different upgrade scenarios
